Day 24 of The Trip — From Taos to Texas Yeeehaw!

A nice old hotel on the square in Taos where we stayed.

Man, what a welcome site this Rosa’s was as we pulled into Amarillo for our last night on the road!

Well, this little trip is on its final leg! Charlotte bought enough Indian jewelry in Taos to cause the Navajo jewelry makers to start a night shift to catch up on their depleted inventory. We loaded it all in the old truck and headed east.
When we crossed the state line and seen the sign welcoming us back to Texas, we both gave a big Yeeehaw! It is always good to go on the road but man it feels even better coming home! And what better way to say your back home in Texas than having dinner at Rosa’s Cantina! Wow! Those are the best beef fajitas in the world!
